Photowalk.ie has a simple goal, to be a a central location to for photographers of any and every level of experience to meet up and co-ordinate photowalks anywhere on the island of Ireland.

Photowalks are a terrific way to meet up with people that just love shooting and sharing their work, talking about photography and learning some tips and tricks from fellow walkers.

Now, this may seem intimidating and you might be asking yourself “Do I have the right gear?”, “Are my shots just crap?”, “Will I be abducted/mugged by this random group of people?”.  Hey, they’re all good questions, but the answers are “Yes”, “No” and “No” This is about a shared interest and not a competition of best equipment, most superior photoshop skills, most megapixels – that stuff is all nonsense and you can get great results from a 2MP camera phone!
